As expected the newest offering from Google is a windoze only application (Mac and Linux users can connect to Google Talk using other IM clients). However, the talk functionality only works on the windoze platform, the other platforms will have to settle for plain old IM. Google Talk enables you to call or send instant messages to your friends for free–anytime, anywhere in the world.
