The new NRI = Now Relocated to India

As many of you know I’m relocating to India for the foreseeable future. The term NRI for many years has meant several things below is a brief list: – Non Resident Indian – Not Really Indian – Non Resident Idiot However, in the past 6 months I’ve heard countless people relocating back to India either for a short stint (6 months) or longer term (1-2 years). I’m terming these people as the new NRI’s – Now Relocated to India. The one question most people ask when I tell them I’m heading to India is – “What are you gonna miss the most?” I think I’m gonna miss hearing that question! Reality is I’m gonna miss alot of stuff about America, but pretty excited to explore more things in Asia.
