Recently, MProfit took part in the Transformance Forums Family Office Summit in Bengaluru. It was a gathering of around 100 people with a mix of family office members, CIOs, and service providers. There was a wide variety of topics that were covered that centered around family offices.
We gave a talk about moving beyond Excel to manage the wide variety of investments, advisors and family members that a family office has to deal with. When we talk about investment types before it was pretty simple – equities, FDs, gold, housing, and insurance. But today, not only are there more options it also adds a bit of complexity when tracking the investments in Excel.
